FAQ

1.How do maternity clothes fit?

The premium maternity designer we offer, use quality fabrics with stretch and design with functionality to grow with you. Most bottoms will either offer a lycra infused panel for an over the bump wear or will have an elasticized below the belly banding. Both these styles offer self-adjusting flexibility so that they respond to your body’s every movement and growth. What does all this mean? Our clothes will be increasingly comfortable to wear as you expand in the months ahead.

Our variety of tops will either offer side-ruching to give you a bodycon fit while still offering room for growth, or will be looser, a-line cut with equal room for growth.

We offer great style without sacrificing comfort!

2.Why should I buy maternity?

Our styles are designed by maternity fashion experts, specifically for a growing pregnant figure. In a flattering way, the dimensions and cuts of the clothing are designed to accommodate ONLY the areas that will grow while pregnant.

When you buy a bigger size in regular wear, the shoulders are bigger, the sleeves are looser and longer, legs are looser, and the torso fit is also looser and longer. It’s essentially bigger all over, hence making you look sloppy and not polished.

3.When should I buy maternity clothes?

The answer to this question is as unique as you are. It depends entirely on when you start to out grow your clothes and are no longer comfortable in what you are wearing. Bra size is often the first item that needs replacing with a larger, maternity/nursing bra that offers long term wear with nursing access.

Anytime between 6 to 12 weeks your bottoms are going to get extremely uncomfortable to wear. When you’ve hit that point consider having a pair or two of bottoms in your closet ready. One day, very soon, you’re going to wake up and your belly will have popped! And nothing in your regular bottoms will fit!

4.What size maternity clothes should I buy? What size will I wear in 3 months?

Generally you would purchase clothes in the similar size that you wore pre-pregnant. However, there is nothing better than trying on the clothes in person. If you can’t get to our store, take advantage of our eFashion Consultant by phone, who can guide you through the actual sizes of the various styles we offer. Unfortunately, sizing isn’t always consistant and we will guide you through the sizing decision.

In otherwords, a size guide chart has it’s shortcomings. Get our eFashion Consultant on the phone!
